Access issues in the digital world

I was introduce to the concept of inclusive art practices in 2013, when I attended the first Meeting Place  in Hobart hosted by Arts Access Australia The world of 'live captioning'  and audio description were terms soon being incorporated into my vocabary as I embarked on a seven year journey.

In a few weeks I will be presenting at 2020 Meeting Place, where being discussed is the topic of CREATE SPACES.  What does that mean for me and what will that look like for a world facing a paramedic.  Travel restrictions mean we cannot 'meet' in a physical space.

Working on  My Presentation has been an interesting process, having never presented digitally before, or need to arrange accessible technology to accompany my presentation.

"Create Space"

"This is the space where the images in my mind meet the reality of the space
in which I am creating."

Debs Digital Den occurs when I take my creative practice into the online world.

This project throws up new challengers everyday.  Just like in my own life I am overcoming the challengers one by one
