Purple Day - March 26th
Creates Awareness of epilepsy
and the needs of those living with epilepsy in the community.
Around 50 million people around the world have
some type of seizure disorder or experience seizure activity.
One of the messages of Purple Day is . . .
"People with epilepsy are ordinary people
who do everyday things..."
the condition should not create any barriers for
us living in the community and yet,
ensnarement, fear and isolation
still accompany the condition.
My name is Debbie Chilton
"I have epilepsy but it does not have me!"
